Old Navy Finds

I visited Old Navy recently and was blown away by the many stylish items they had in stock ... a far cry from the flag T-shirts I remember from my childhood (in fact, I think my dad may still have some from the '90s). I scooped up the patent toe canvas ballet flats that are nearly identical to Kate Spade's Tipsy flats from year, and I couldn't resist the much blogged about hot pink maxi skirt. Have you had any finds at Old Navy recently?

J. McLaughlin Sale

KGB over at Monograms and Martinis posted about the J. McLaughlin sale this evening, and I couldn't resist picking up a few items. Through tomorrow, take an additional 50% off already reduced merchandise ... you can't beat that for some high quality, classic pieces!

I was eyeing this chambray top a while back ... I think it will pair well with all of my plaid mini skirts!

I love the equestrian feel of this belt; it reminds me of my dear friend the Equestrian Stylist!

I've definitely been having a belt moment lately.

Statement Earrings

One / Two
Kendra Scott is my go to for statement earrings. I bought my first pair in her Austin boutique last year (the popular Turquoise Danielle), and have purchased several more pairs since then. What draws me to her pieces is that they are the kind you can create an outfit around. Now to decide which of the above pairs should be my next!

Needlepoint

You may have seen the above photo in one of my Friday Five posts a few weeks ago. Needlepoint has become my recent obsession, thanks to Etsy shop Stina Stitches. Stina Stitches has the best needlepoint kits that contain everything you need, they are very reasonably priced, and are all preppy themed!

Last week I finished two magnets - the one above with Cape Cod on it and the other features a Nantucket basket with a whale on it. Now that I've completed a few basic designs, I'm hoping to tackle a belt next!
